Depth Psychotherapy

For People in Recovery from Addiction

We all have emotional and mental memories that have developed over time. There are two types: Implicit and explicit. Implicit memories have developed below our conscious awareness while explicit memories can easily and intentionally be recalled.

Depth psychotherapy seeks to gain a better understanding of implicit memories that hold great influence over emotions, relational patterns, and overall worldview.

If you have an addictive past, old thought and emotional patterns do not simply go away once you are in recovery. In fact, these patterns may be felt more strongly now that alcohol or substances are not acting as a numbing-out agent.

By bringing awareness and working with these patterns, you can truly recreate your life.
